Trek Itinerary
π Morning: Departure from Our Riad
- Enjoy a hearty breakfast at our riad, then meet your local guide & muleteers.
- Begin the trek directly from the riad, heading through Imlil village (1,740m).
π₯Ύ Trek to ISK Summit (2,750m)
- Hike along mule tracks and Berber farmlands, passing through charming mountain villages.
- Gradual ascent through forested trails, leading to the ISK Summit.
- Reach the summit (2,750m) and take in the stunning 360Β° views over the High Atlas Mountains, Imlil Valley, and Mount Toubkal. *(Approx. 3.5 to 4 hours hiking)*
π½οΈ Lunch with a View at the Summit
- Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch, prepared by your guide, with a breathtaking mountain backdrop.
- Relax, take photos, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the High Atlas.
ποΈ Descend Back to Our Riad
- Follow a different scenic route on the descent, passing through lush valleys and Berber villages. *(Approx. 2.5 hours hiking)*
- Arrive back at our riad in the afternoon, where you can enjoy a refreshing mint tea and relax.
- Optional hammam or massage available at the riad upon request.
Clothing:
- Trekking boots (broken in beforehand).
- Warm jacket and rainproof jacket with a hood.
- Warm hat and sun hat.
- Gloves (waterproof in winter).
- Comfortable trekking pants and lightweight long-sleeve shirts.
- Thermal base layers.
- Wool socks (2 pairs).
- Lightweight sandals for the refuge.
Equipment:
- Backpack for trekking gear and a daypack for essentials (water, snacks, extra layers).
- Sleeping bag.
- Water bottle with purification tablets.
- Walking poles.
- Headlamp with spare batteries.
