Trek Itineraryπ Morning: Depart from Our Riad β Trek Begins
- Breakfast at our riad, followed by meeting with your local guide & muleteers.
- Start your trek directly from the riad, heading towards Imlil village (1,740m).
π₯Ύ Hike to Talamrout Summit (2,650m)
- Follow ancient mule tracks, passing through traditional Berber settlements and walnut groves.
- Trek through forested hills and gradually climb towards Talamrout Summit.
- Reach the 2,650m-high summit, where you'll be greeted with breathtaking views over the Imlil Valley, Mount Toubkal, and the surrounding peaks. *(Approx. 3.5 hours trekking)*
π½οΈ Lunch with a View at the Summit
- Enjoy a picnic lunch prepared by your guide, surrounded by panoramic mountain views.
- Relax, take photos, and soak in the serene High Atlas atmosphere.
ποΈ Descend Back to Our Riad
- Begin your descent along a different scenic path, passing through lush valleys. *(Approx. 2.5 hours trekking)*
- Arrive back at our riad in the afternoon, where you can enjoy a refreshing mint tea and relax.
- End of trek β optional hammam or massage available at the riad upon request.
Clothing:
- Trekking boots (broken in beforehand).
- Warm jacket and rainproof jacket with a hood.
- Warm hat and sun hat.
- Gloves (waterproof in winter).
- Comfortable trekking pants and lightweight long-sleeve shirts.
- Thermal base layers.
- Wool socks (2 pairs).
- Lightweight sandals for the refuge.
Equipment:
- Backpack for trekking gear and a daypack for essentials (water, snacks, extra layers).
- Sleeping bag.
